Sabbeth Sites: 永祚寺

The 永祚寺 (yǒngzuòsì) of 太原 (tàiyuán). They are the tallest twin pagodas in China.

Bells placed on the pagodas made the only sounds in the peaceful temple complex.

The stairs of one of the pagodas. The higher I climbed
the steeper, shorter and narrower the path became.
