Sabbath Sites: Notre Dame de Paris

This is the start of a new weekly series on my blog called "Sabbath Sites". Every week I will be posting about a certain place where people worship. I plan on inluding a variety of religions and locations, but where better to start than Notre Dame?

St. Denis, who is most well known for being beheaded, then walking for about 6 miles while
giving a sermon and carrying his head. No suprise that he made quite an impression.

Beginning with Blogging

I am a college student from the United States. For me this year is the beginning of a whole host of new experiences studying, traveling, teaching, learning and living in foreign countries. I have been told that the experiences I will have in the next few years are ones that will go by in a flash, but I would like to remember them throughout my life. This is where my blog comes in. I will keep this blog to allow the ones I love back home, strangers that wish to be a part of my adventures and even myself to have a tool that organizes and describes the places I see, the experiences that I have and how they will change me.
