Mutterday: Fall Fruits

Outside Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Topeka, Kansas, U.S.A.

Apples, and it's jelly, seem to be in season on both sides of the Atlantic.

  1. Yes, it's really lovely to harvest the autumn fruits and make jam and jelly and all sorts of goodies out of them! I'm a little bit confused by the word mutterday. Is it mutter as in speaking with low voices/ mumbling? Is it a special day, or a blog theme?

    1. Mutterday refers to the Monday series being done trans-Atlantically by both my mom (her blog is http://www.mayachieveclarity.com) and my brother (this blog). Each Monday, they share what they're each doing. It is pretty humbling to see that, even separated by an ocean, life is spectacularly similar around the world.

    2. The reply is spot on! I am currently in Germany and Mutter is the word for mother in German. It is a series I am doing with my mother.

  2. I love making preserves. My Mum used to make an apple and lemon marmalade.
Have a lovely weekend, and thank you for stopping by my blog this week.
