Missing Germany
As fall and October begin, I can't help being reminded of my experiences last fall and winter in Germany.
It wasn't until I had left Germany, that I realized how much I had fallen in love with the language, culture, cuisine, cities, towns, countryside and the people.
There was something magical about being able to go the country that has the roots of my heritage.
I never felt out of place. It was new, but welcoming.
Planning my return to Germany will have to be enough, for now.

Back to Blogging
After finishing my time studying abroad in Germany I had to deal with a variety of quick changes. All of these changes left me without a lot of time in the short term and at a loss of what to do with myself in the longer term. I didn't know how my blog fit into my life in my home country, and because of this did not know what to post. The longer the passage of time, the more difficult it was to come back to blogging.
I am starting another school year and with it another study abroad experience, this time in Paris. Now is the time to start fresh. The perfect time to pick up an old habit.
For now, I look foward to the new experiences that are coming my way.
